We invite you to gather with us in

on May 2nd, 2024 at 11:30am
for Prayer and Worship!
This year, we're celebrating 73 years
of annual prayer in the United States!
Those who attend should bring chairs or blanket for comfort and are welcome to bring a picnic lunch.

Then, we pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and receive the Aaronic Blessing in Hebrew and in Song.

This is a PRAYER ALERT and Anyone is Welcome to join with us in prayer. Together we will pray for our country and our world.
WHY ARE WE PRAYING?
Since 1952, the first Thursday in May is a special day set aside – by law – when Americans are urged to pray for their country.
It is of utmost importance that we take heed and pray,
not only for our country, but our whole world.
As citizens and residents of the United States and as believers in Christ Jesus, we not only have a spiritual responsibility
according to 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to pray, but a civic duty as well to heed our President’s call to stand in the gap for our nation.
Who but God’s people have the ability to enter into the very throne room of Heaven with prayers and petitions!
Scripture tells us again and again that our fervent prayer is effective. That our loving God responds to His children’s earnest
pleas in mighty ways that avail much, and ultimately determine the course of history
